Design a CDN like Cloudflare or CloudFront: ~300 edge locations cache customers' content near users, serve ~50M requests per second globally, fetch from customer origins only on a miss, terminate TLS for millions of domains, and let customers purge content worldwide within seconds — while surviving server failures, location outages and DDoS attacks.
