Design a market data service like the price feeds behind the Bloomberg Terminal or a trading app. Ingest ~5M trades and quotes per second from many exchanges for ~100k instruments, and stream live prices to ~500k connected users, each watching ~50 symbols, plus serve historical bars for charts. Updates must stay in order and gaps must be detected.
