Design the system a platform like Stripe uses to deliver events to customers' HTTPS endpoints. ~1B events per day go to ~1M registered endpoints, many of which are slow, failing or down for hours. Deliveries must be at-least-once, retried for up to three days, and signed so receivers can verify them, and one bad endpoint must never delay anyone else's.
